Let’s now present a few success stories after applying Humanology™ strategies, techniques and tools. As this is quite a young methodology, its expansion, dissemination and growth reaches all kinds of companies and individual clients in organizations, from startups to clients and CEOs. We work with professionals in every sector, such as banking, insurance, pharmaceutical, psychology, coaching, teaching, the arts, law, politics, and so on.

In order to satisfy different aspects and company levels, we present three different case stories that somehow represent the type of work done by humanologists and display the wide range of solutions and approaches that can be used.

The first example is about a well-established company that is facing a problem with their staff. The second one focuses on trying to help a multinational company CEO redirect her career. The third example reflects the consultancy services a general manager received while developing a new company.

We hope that these cases can reflect the complexity and great efficiency Humanology™ can offer when solving organizational problems, in particular in the field of human resources, which happens to be the fundamental pillar upon which all corporations stand. Properly handling the human component is paramount in any company and requires a deep understanding of the mechanisms and skills that are needed to avoid obstacles and limitations and to allow the staff to flow and grow with much less friction.

MAIN GOAL

To establish the perfect basis to define and create a new insurance company in Switzerland. Among other things, the idea was to define the company’s mission and vision in such a way that they would clearly make it standout and reflected an important added value. Furthermore, certain working parameters needed to be established go guarantee that all proposals and services were ideal.

OBSTACLES IDENTIFIED

As insurance policies must be privately acquired in Switzerland, there is great competition and differentiation is difficult because they all basically offer the same content. Furthermore, given the conservative nature of its people, it can be difficult to offer new products or services, which also implies greater risks when trying to open new companies.

SOLUTIONS TO THE PROBLEMS DETECTED

  • In order to reach the goals set, work was done directly with the general manager, using specific humanology strategies and tools to reach a unique professional vision and mission with a unique identity, based on a deep understanding of the services to be rendered by the company.
  • Possible clients were also segmented according to their specifics. Each segment was then assigned specific commercial tools that would make those clients perceive their proposals as something special for them, which clearly adds value to all proposals.
  • Finally, specific tools were created to help select the right staff for the company and then assign them the perfect position, based on their profiles and type of motivation. This guaranteed greater commitment and a stronger sense of belonging, both of which have an obvious positive impact upon overall performance.
  • Less than a year later, the company is growing fast in a constant, solid and very satisfactory way.

MAIN GOAL

The CEO of a big pharma company wanted a new direction in her career. The problem was a lack of clarity and definition for the following steps.

OBSTACLES IDENTIFIED

  • The CEO can’t see what her next steps should be.
  • She is blocked by the multitude of possibilities and a sense of dissatisfaction that she’s had these last years.

SOLUTIONS TO THE PROBLEMS DETECTED

  • In order to reach the goal and offer the CEO the clarity she needed, a comprehensive humanological study of her skills, strengths and weaknesses was performed. The results were then combined with other measurements such as motivation, life purpose and 5 basic needs, just to mention a few.
  • The CEO discovered a series of personal parameters that helped her redirect her career with a greater personal and professional sense of flow.
  • She is currently directing a multinational company with a big team of managers from different countries.

MAIN GOAL

The management wants the staff to work in a highly motivated way, aiming at doing their best with care and passion every day, so they can feel proud of their daily performance.

SECONDARY GOALS

-Technical aspects: complying with regulations

– James: increase sales and control staff and clients better

– Aurora: better organization

OBSTACLES IDENTIFIED

  • The general manager believes that most workers are not motivated.
  • The foreman does not exercise enough control over the staff or the clients and the administration department lacks organizational skills. This affects workflow negatively.

SOLUTIONS TO THE PROBLEMS DETECTED

  • In order to reach the targets established, the type of motivation and the personal profile of each employee were assessed. Based on those results, the organizational chart was modified to accommodate a better use of skills and strengths.
  • The company was also suggested a list of recommendations that would increase the motivation of certain workers so they could grow faster and cause greater cohesion and a generalized stronger sense of being part of a team.
  • Training was offered to satisfy some of the needs detected in some of the employees, so that the administration department could reach its goals and sales targets could be surpassed.
