ABOUT > Humanology and other disciplines

Humanology applies a lot of the knowledge and tools used in other disciplines, thus taking advantage of what already exists in other fields. There’s no need to reinvent the wheel but, by building upon what already exists and combining the wisdom found in other sources, Humanology™ manages to offer a comprehensive and well-founded new approach to studying and explaining human beings.

Furthermore, given that all human beings are unique entities, Humanology™ offers them a wide range of techniques and strategies based on the combination of all other fields. No other discipline manages to supply human beings with such a varied array of solutions. A professional humanologist will be able to offer clients the tools, approaches, strategies and techniques that best suit them at all times.

Psicology

Psicology

Humanology applies much of the accumulated knowledge in psychology; not only traditional psychology but also positive psychology. As an example, we could mention that Optimism Coaching © was created on the basis of some of the advances made in the field of optimism by other experts such as Professor Seligman or the psychologist Mihály Csíkszentmihályi.
Coaching

Coaching

Coaching is a process used by professionals to help their clients in a creative and stimulating process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential. Humanologists use training tools to help their clients question their beliefs, seek new perspectives and find the answers they seek in themselves.
Neuro-Linguistic Programming

Neuro-Linguistic Programming

This field of study helps human beings to take better control of their thought processes and use this knowledge to grow and develop. Professional humanologists use it as another set of tools to help their clients, when necessary.
Neurosciences

Neurosciences

Many of the recent developments in this field were already part of Optimism Coaching © and as such Humanology ™ many years ago. Understanding how our brain and central nervous system works and how to use them to our advantage has always been one of the benchmarks of Humanology ™. Several of its tools are based directly on this field.
Mentoring

Mentoring

Our clients sometimes just need to know which way to go and what steps to take. This is where the mentoring role becomes important. Humanologists know this and have the skills to guide their clients also using these techniques.
Linguistics and communication

Linguistics and communication

The use of language is fundamental in the creation of our reality, which is why humanologists learn some basic concepts about it and the tools that their clients can apply to better manage their relationships.
Others

Others

Humanology includes many other tools and techniques taken from other fields and disciplines. As human beings are understood as integral entities, all physical, mental, sentimental and spiritual aspects can be contemplated and addressed. In addition, each humanologist incorporates his knowledge to the work developed with his clients.
